This Privacy Policy explains how MidnaTech Inc. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ViceVirtue mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
With your explicit permission, the App reads the following data from Apple HealthKit to track your habits and show your progress:
The App may also write some of these values (e.g. water intake, workouts) back to HealthKit if you choose to log them. Health data is processed on your device to display your habit progress. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
If you set up a Screen Time habit, the App uses Apple's Family Controls / DeviceActivity frameworks to help you limit selected apps. Your app selections are represented by opaque, system-provided tokens and are stored locally on your device. We do not receive the names of the apps you select. You can revoke Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings → Screen Time.
Auto-renewable subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. This may include a subscription identifier and purchase/renewal status. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and are never accessible to us.
We use Amplitude to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This may include a device-generated identifier and in-app events (for example, screens viewed or features used). This data does not include your HealthKit data.
Habits, goals, and settings you create are stored on your device to operate the App.
The App relies on the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your health data with third parties. Limited data is processed by the service providers listed above solely to operate the App.
Data stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data. Analytics and subscription records are retained by our service providers according to their policies.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Health and Screen Time data are handled using Apple's on-device, privacy-preserving frameworks.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
